Privacy Policy

Protecting your privacy when using the Hawaii Conditions MCP Server.

Overview

The Hawaii Conditions MCP Server provides real-time surf conditions, trail status, volcano activity, ocean safety alerts, hyperlocal weather and restaurant recommendations for the Hawaiian Islands. This service is designed primarily for integration with AI agents and other applications. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to being transparent about what data we collect, how we use it and your choices.

Data we collect

We do not collect personally identifiable information about you. The MCP server responds to requests by returning aggregated and anonymized environmental data from third-party sources (e.g. NOAA, National Park Service, USGS and Google Places). We do not track individual user identities, IP addresses or device identifiers.

When interacting with paid tools, our payment processor (Stripe) may collect billing details. That information is handled exclusively by Stripe and is not stored on our servers. Please review Stripe’s privacy policy for details.

How we use data

We use aggregated environmental data solely to provide up-to-date information to your application or AI agent. We do not sell, rent or otherwise share this data with marketers. We may use anonymized usage metrics (e.g. number of API calls per endpoint) to monitor system health, improve performance and plan future features.

AI agents & third-party integrations

Because the MCP server is designed for AI agents, it includes self-describing tools and pricing metadata. It is your responsibility to ensure your agent or application uses this server appropriately and in compliance with all applicable laws. When your agent passes user information through our tools, you should obtain any necessary consent from your users.

Security

We employ industry-standard security measures to protect our systems. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. Updates will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the service after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
